Detection of “zero-volume” defects in concrete repair systems using impact-echo method

نویسندگان

چکیده

Adhesion in this system is one of the most important factors that affect reliability and durability repair. According to many standards guidelines, a pull-off test recommended for assessment bond quality repair systems. However, growing interest development non-destructive techniques (NDT) evaluation concrete structures recently noted. A majority NDT methods mentioned EN 1504-10 efficiency are based on propagation stress waves. The impact echo method considered as promising. literature data confirmed “non-zero volume” defects containing air relatively easy detect with impact-echo if they large enough. It more complex “zero-volume” defects, e.g dust or any other antiadhesion material. In work usability detection systems discussed.

Damage Detection in Beam-like Structures using Finite Volume Method

In this paper the damage location in beam like-structure is determined using static and dynamic data obtained using finite volume method. The change of static and dynamic displacement due to damage is used to establish an indicator for determining the damage location. In order to assess the robustness of the proposed method for structural damage detection, three test examples including a static...

CRACK DETECTION IN CONCRETE BEAM USING OPTIMIZATION METHOD

Structural damage detection is a field that has attracted a great interest in the scientific community in recent years. Most of these studies use dynamic analysis data of the beams as a diagnostic tool for damage. In this paper, a massless rotational spring was used to represent the cracked sections of beams and the natural frequencies and mode shape were obtained. For calculation of rotational...

Concrete Condition Assessment Using Impact-Echo Method and Extreme Learning Machines

The impact-echo (IE) method is a popular non-destructive testing (NDT) technique widely used for measuring the thickness of plate-like structures and for detecting certain defects inside concrete elements or structures. However, the IE method is not effective for full condition assessment (i.e., defect detection, defect diagnosis, defect sizing and location), because the simple frequency spectr...

investigation of single-user and multi-user detection methods in mc-cdma systems and comparison of their performances
